I just bought my Element less than a month ago and so far I love it.
However, I have this thin white smoke which smells like burning antifreeze coming up from under the hood. I have already been to the dealer and they have replaced my gaskets, but it is happening again. Anyone else experiencing this?

IF IT'S COMMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD IT MAY BE A LOOSE HOSE OR A BAD RADIATOR CAP. IF IT WAS THE HEAD THERE WOULD BE ANTIFREEZE OUT THE TAILPIPE OR OVERHEATING

There are lots of hoses dealing with coolant under the hood. All it takes is for one clamp to be a little loose or a hose not quite sealing at the nipple for there to be enough coolant dripping on an exhaust piece to do what you're describing. I would hope that the dealer's techs did a complete check of the hoses.

A head gasket or head warpage problem can have any of several symptoms, coolant seepage to the exterior of the engine being one. That's highly unlikely, however.

Just keep hounding the service department on this, 'cause it's their problem to fix.
