Hello,

A fairly annoying creak has developed from the passenger side in the area of where the windscreen meets the dash and/or "A" pillar. Any other similar issues or ideas?

Be carefull. I have had my E in 4 times to fix this and they still have not solved the problem. I have had 2 windshields and 2 attempts to "realign" some "A" pillar insulation.

My E falls within the first 9800 so it's had many problems.

Don't let the dealership give you a line of crock. Make them fix it or pursue the lemon law. I am in the middle of pursuing the lemon law on my E and although I hate the fact that I am doing it, I think it is going to be successful. It just is not right.

But hey, that is another story. In your case, make them fix it.

Go to the Problems and Issues thread. There are a number of postings on the noisy dash issue. I had the same problem and it took the dealer 4 days of working with the Honda Techline to get it resolved (finally!). Honda has a TSB out on the issue, but their "fix" didn't solve the problem initially.
