Has anyone had any experience with installing Sony 6 1/2" 3 way Xplod speakers into the front & rear Element doors?
Looking for a "clean" install utilizing the stock rain protector cups & the existing screw holes.
I've heard that the 6 1/2" will fit the rain protector cups but that the 3/4" frontal protrusion of the mids & tweters may foil the install.
Please comment if you have any actual experience with the install.
