We just added intro-guard car covers from intro-tech to the site for the Element. They are a silver, nylon type material.
I haven't seen one on a Element yet, we hope to get pictures soon, so I can't comment on fit.

Cool! Now that my car sits for days at a time, I've considered a car cover. Lots of pollen gets on the car even though I have a carport.
Ship me one and I'll fit-test it!

Good shot Trever, has anyone test drive with it on yet? I would
like to know how well it stays on at high speeds.;-)
All kidding aside, I need to get one before the first freeze, I hate
scrapping ice.:-x

Does the car cover have any sort of padding to it? What I mean is, can you tell by feeling it if the cover would protect from a "light impact" door opening into the side of the vehicle?
What about protection from roving bands of rabbits?
I love the way it covers up the Kiwi color.

It is a super thin material, no padding at all.
It might hold off a single rabbit but it would be no match for a roving band (depending on what instruments they play).

I think it's just a 'feel good band aid' for all the kiwi drivers... with this they disguise their E as a really nice 'Silver' one. :)
Yes, I'm just kidding - about the whole bandaid comment... not the kiwi thing...
