Crutchfield says no one makes one yet.

Fact or Fiction?

Crutchfield does not carry them but Metra makes them. I'm not sure if they make one for a double din or just single. Unfortunately, you have to contact their sales rep for your area to even find out who sells them.

So is it really different than the 07?

This is the Metra you were talking about right?

I used the car selector on their site and it said that the one for the 03-07 model will work. I guess I'll just give that a shot.

Scoshche makes one HA1702B and there's american international, they also make one. The scosche worked well for me

I was poking around on the Metra site and I saw an amplifier bypass harness that plugs into the amp and then gets hard wired into the after market head unit. Does this allow you to keep the factory sub and keep the rest of the speakers powered properly?

That's the idea, but in some situations it causes the dreaded "amp click".

I ordered a scosche as well, since the bottom portion of the dash is tapered, the scosche one has the taper needed to close the gap.

Thanks for the link Jason. I got your email too. I'll probably order this stuff in the next week or two.

For the BEST look, you could always order a replacement stock surround and mold the dash kit to it, then keep the original as a back-up if you ever have to return to stock. :D

That's what I did as well. Although Metra and Scosche are good kits, nothing fits as well as OEM pieces, even if it does take a litte extra work. You have to use a pre-06 trim piece to get the straight edges in the head unit opening. It doesn't come in black, so you'll have to paint/dye it, too.
