: will three car-seats fit in the back?

I am thinking about purchasing an element. I have three small children (4, 2 & 0), who all need car-seats of varying degrees. Will the rear seat accomodate three car-seats?

i doubt it unless you install an additional seatbelt. Even then it is iffy.

Nope, not a chance. I don't know that 3 car seats will sit across any rear seat, even one with three seatbelts...They're pretty bulky. Time for a min-van, my condolences. You could always sell off one of the kids.

I wouldn't suggest putting 3 kids in the back of the element. If it were me, I would probably go with a van or a bigger SUV, where you have more seating options. Sorry

Maybe an Odyssey is in order. That or adoption. Just Kidding! (Although if it were me and my husband I know what route he'd want to take!)

I let my wife buy a new Odyssey this year. But I sure as sh!t wouldn't be seen driving it.
Minvans are versatile as hell, you can get more in any minivan than you ever could hope to get in an Expedition or Suburban and I defy anyone to tell me different, but man, they're so friggin wimpy. Show me a man driving his own minivan and I'll show you the worlds smallest pair.

It's high performance to me! I can take two kayaks and a canoe, up to 4 bicycles, a weeks worth of camping crap and 4 people. If that ain't high performance, I dunno what is.

So are you saying that an Odyssey is high performance? Your prior post seems to say they are very roomy.

Maybe it's past your bed time...Maybe it's past mine...I said the minivan is versatile and roomy, correct. I also said I hate 'em and any man who would drive one has no stones/cahones/whatever...The E/Element/Box On Wheels is high performance because it can take all my sh!t where I wanna go. Way better than a minivan...And fellow campers don't laugh and make fun of me.
What are you a freakin' lawyer?

Maybe a Nissan Armada is in order here - I dont know how easy it would be to get kids in and out of the rear seat, but it has plenty of room.
