Crazy, looks like almost more trouble than it's worth? Still quite ingenious though :D
I like the little side tent thingy, could be a nice changing/potty room for camping.

Looks like the main thing that is being sold on Ebay is the rollout kitchen sink and cabinet.
I think the tailgate tent is by DAK, selling for about $100 at Campmor. I think it is the 'van' model. Some of us have experimented with the the 'midsize' model which intended for a lower pickup shell.
The tents in the drawing are 'roof top tents', a style that is popular in Europe and Africa.

Think I would still rather have the Ecamper.

Fun stuff, except for those silly wheels. I wish our Es really were that square.
So that's $1289 for the "roll-out kitchen", less the tailgate (by Dak) tent?
Wow, that's seems like a lot for what's basically a plywood box , a cooler, and a bar sink

I've actually had heavy thoughts of making something similar in my E. I think a lot of the cost would be the heavy duty slides for the whole thing and labor to get it installed, but it still seems like an awful lot.

Reason I posted that, is I have a friend who built a similar setup for his SUV. Built it on rubber-wheel'd locking castors, then just made it a couple of inches narrower than the cargo area, with foam pipe-wrap over plastic pipe screwed into each side as "fenders", and lift out/in handles. Slid in nice and tight, with no rubbing or scratching of the car panels, and the locking castors worked great, with no track needed. If I remember right his cost to build was under $400, and that included a water tank with hand-pump, cooler, sink, and campstove (and his was pretty fancy looking).
I took the lazy way and just went with:
