Hi everyone
I have had the E for 5 months now, 8000 miles, 4WD EX, and just yesterday, it started making a rattling noise everytime I put the car in the R (reverse) transmission to back up, or when braking in a little steep road without applying the hand brakes. If its in neutral, or regular driving, there is no problem. Its quite loud on occasions, and gets ugly, if I reverse and give it a bit of speed. Of course I have scheduled an appointment in a couple of days, but I was wondering if anybody experienced such an issue.
