I understand a tire recommendation of 225 x 75 x 16 for increasing ground clearance. Please educate me as to why using the wheels from a Pilot would help with ground clearance. Does it allow you to use a taller and wider tire that fits comfortably on an Element?

Using a wheel from the Pilot should make no difference in ground clearance.

The Pilot wheel is a 16" diameter wheel as well.
