Has anybody put after market off road rims on their E? For example the American Racing Mohave or Marin style or ????. I am looking for something rugged and black to match my Magnesium Mettallic E. I did a search and saw posts on tire size for off road but not actual rims. I was thinking of a 16" or even downsizing to a 15". Any thoughts?

For off road, you want STEEL. Rocks will crack mags. The steel will bend on hard impact. They will keep going. The cast wheels will lose air.

However the E is not suited for heavy off road use. It simply does not have enough ground clearance.
