I'm thinking of upgrading tires on my stock rims and these are the only tires I can find that are wider, yet compare with the original as far as revolutions per mile go. Are they quiet? Do they wear well? Any effect on gas mileage? Any rubbing? They're fairly cheap at Tirerack http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Dueler+H%2FT+D684&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=365R6HT&fromCompare1=yes (only $69 per tire). Any info is appreciated!

Chip, If you read one of my previous posts (Best tire on stock rim), you'll see my answer to this question.
It's approximately 2 weeks since I installed the Bridgestone Dueler H/T 684II tire which is OEM on the Saturn Vue; hence the expensive cost as this size is unique to the Vue. The tires are amazing in cornering and much-much-much more quiet than the Goodyear Wrangler garbage (215/70 R16) that comes stock on the E.
The wider tire looks very agressive and I could not recommend a better tire than this one for the E. You will not be disappointed. E-mail me off-line for photos.

I have the BS Dueler 684 as the original tire for my 99 Trooper, they weared farely well the first 20K. There were some evident of premature weared along the conners of the tires. Like any tire you have keep it properly inflated and 6k or two oil changes on tire rotation. I believed Brigdestone is dicontinue the 684 line, that why it is being discounted.
It is a good price for an SUV tire.

Seems to me I had those tires on my CRV and they lasted about 30,000. Fairly good for stock tires from the dealer.
