Is Keetna an Austrailian Shepherd? She looks just like my last dog, Esther!
On a sad note, Esther passed away about 5 days after I bought my Element, just before new year's. But like, Keetna, she claimed it immediately.
I have to admit it made me smile to see this thread, since I never got to snap a pic of Esther in the E.

Blaine,
Keetna came from a puppy rescue in Wasilla, Alaska. We were told they had German Sheperd pups and when we got there she was sooo cute. We really have no idea, but I suspect she may be Australian Shepherd. One thing is for sure, she is waaay to smart for her own good!
Did Esther have any habits? Keetna loves the tennis ball and has MAJOR seperation anxiety. We just came home to find our kitchen trash all over our kitchen
Gotta love our crazy girl tho!

Esther was an Austrailian Shepherd... looked just like your Keetna. Same coloring as a G. Shepherd, but long haired - they call them Black Tri-Colored, as opposed to the more commonly known Blue Merle and Red Merle varieties (even though all 3 can appear in the same litter, as was the case with Esther).
Really, really smart dogs, love to fetch for hours, love to herd things -especially people! They also love to swim, if exposed to it and I know for sure that Esther had tremendous love for her "babies" - stuffed animals, etc. She always had one or two left somewhere in the house. She also expressed displeasure by wrecking the kitchen or bathroom trash.
I'll dig up a picture of her and PM it to you... you'd be amazed - she looked just like your Keetna! Your pics made me miss her, but in a good way.

Thanks Kerri! Puppy pics are the greatest IMO too. I am sure that is the bestest use of the Dog-E!
