: DX side view mirrir upgrade?

I just purchased a 2003 element 2wd, DX. So far I am very happy with my new toy.The only thing that I do not like about the DX is that the side view mirrors can not be adjusted remotely. I have 2 other vehicles and I am used to changing the mirror angle while driving at night. This downward angle adjustment that I use at night, helps keep the glare out of my eyes. Trying to make these adjustments manually while driving at night in my DX is a little difficult. Does any one know if remote mirrors can be purchased and installed?. Iwould appreciate any feedback that anyone can offer.
Thanks

What about cruise control for a DX? Any idea how much??

The power mirrors themselves are surprisingly inexpensive ($86 from Majestic Honda), but you're also going to need the dashboard wiring harness, switch and other support bits. Not an impossible task by any means, it's just going to take a lot of scutwork to identify the parts you need (and don't need), and how much disassembly/reassembly you'll need to do.

Adding cruise control to a DX would be a really big job (see "scutwork" above), and getting it wrong has the added bonus of being dangerous.

Cost-wise, the cruise control was about $300 in the major parts, not including the engine computer in the event it was different. I looked at these issues in my own "DX or EX?" shopping. Once you've added the A/C, by the time you're done adding the other missing functions you've pretty much bought an EX, but without the nicer wheels and interior, or the stereo!
