This is one item I consider a safety issue. Every morning before I go to work I have to wipe the condensation from the mirrors with a paper towel. By the time I get back in the Element the mirrors have fogged up again.
Arrrggg
I really depend on my mirrors and need to have them clear at all times. This is one item I would purchase now if it were available.

take some liquid soap and rub it onto the mirrors with a slightly damp paper towel while the mirror is dry.

then wipe the solution off with a dry paper towel and your mirrors will be fog free for about 2 weeks.

or, you can go pic up the no-fog stuff from your local auto shop. it's made by the same people who make rain-x.

and, btw, i don't think honda has ever made a car with heated mirrors.

I'd have definately paid extra for heated mirrors. The mirrors are nice and big, but still hard to scrape ice off of them without banging them up. A little heat would go a long way :)
