Hawaiian E 11-20-2003, 01:27 PM YEAH IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!
I see most of the Hawaii E owners are on Ohau.
Anyone on the Big Island?
I am heading out there in Jan for some diving.
Anyone know where I can rent an E?
Hawaiian E 11-21-2003, 12:38 PM I don't know about renting an E on the big island. When I was there in August/September, there were PT cruisers to rent. If you are going to do some off roading, or go to places that the rental car agencies say you are not supposed to take your car (i.e. saddle road to Mauna Kea; Off road; etc.) then I would advise you to contact Harper Car Rentals (Harpers Hawaii (http://www.harpershawaii.com/))
I don't know if we're all from Oahu, but certainly most of us are.

Dive Hawaii 11-22-2003, 06:16 PM dang I saw a black E with painted panels here today,,, I wonder where he/she got it painted, there's also an E w/ 20's here somewhere, anyone here see it yet?
eKennedy 11-23-2003, 01:26 AM I've seen the black painted E. Its driven by a chick who lives somewhere in the Waipau/Ewa Beach area, or at least she gets on the freeway at the Waipahu on-ramp in the morning. I get on there too, and have been next to her all the way to Ward Ave a couple of times.
It does look pretty sweet. I get jealous every time I see it.

Hawaiian E 11-24-2003, 12:50 PM Never saw it yet, but then again I live on the opposite side of the island...
I wonder how much it cost too?
hawaiigirl 11-29-2003, 11:58 PM I actually met that girl at a garage sale in Olomana! She bought it at Honda Windward, actually traded in her Toyota Tundra for it! Her friends at work said she was crazy, but she loves it! I unfortunately didn't ask her about the panels, but maybe you could call the dealership and see if they know.
Dive Hawaii 11-30-2003, 09:17 PM I got mine @ windward too, and they seem to know very little about the "E" at least all that I talked to  8) :x
Hawaiian E 12-01-2003, 01:48 PM They made a believer out me!-actually, not really. I went to windward and got a quote and test-drive and everything, then I was waiting for the EBP to come in. When it came in, I was going to go in and get it, but they sold it like right before I was leaving to go check it out. I was pissed, and went to check out the other dealers. After talking with Tony and Pfleuger, I realized that Windward was the only one that actually cared about customers, so I went back there and got mine, like 2 weeks later.
Next time I talk with the person that sold me mine, I'll ask him about the painted panels, because I haven't seen any there...
chrislonie 12-19-2003, 12:51 PM I got mine from Tony ONLY because they had exactly what I wanted. Dealing with them was awful. Never again.
