This sounds good for us too. We have spent a lot of time in Hershey before we moved from PA. We could take over the "little" Hershey Motel, a good place to stay, great people there and good restaurants nearby. Put us down, please.:-D

I unfortunately can't commit because of the date- my hubby works for the PA House and that is budget crunch time. Since the legislators usually can't seem to get their act together he usually works that weekend.

Really stinks because it's around our anniversary, too! :mad:

I'd love to be involved somehow- even if my hubby is working and I can only get to the parking lot meet and greet and bring the kids. I understand I may not be able to be included with some of the activities that you need to reserve in advance, so just let me know . . .

I'm sure something can be worked out. I do believe you may be permitted into the parking lot without paying an admission price. As I begin the finalization process with the folks at Hershey, I'll be sure to confirm that for you.

I wouldn't want to be in your shoes though. It's gonna be tough bringing the kids that close to Hershey Park without bringing them in. Unless they've been there many times or are very young.

We usually go about twice each year, since it is so close; we always get tickets for gifts from family or you can get discounts from my local township office or grocery stores.

There is also 2 hour free parking at Chocolate World, which is also free; if you stay beyond the 2 hours you pay additional per hour on a sliding scale. It may be an option for those wanting to attend the meet and greet only, but defeats the purpose of having all the vehicles together.
