Hi all,

I searched a bit in the forums and didn't find any difinitive answers. Has anyone tried the at-2's on their E? I had some on my westy syncro and loved them, but not sure how they work on the E.

Does a 245/75 16 grabber fit the E?

Also they have a 255/55 18 in the at2. would that fit?

I have acquired a set of SC wheels and am considdering just getting the 18" at-2's as my year round tires instead of buying a winter and summer set. I think the blackwall look on black powdercoated sc 19's would be awesome.

any input greatly appreciated.:)

I have had 215/75/R15s Grabber AT2s on 15" steelies for two winters now and have nothing but great things to say. These tires are the closest to stock height though so I can't say anything about 245s. I know some have run 235s without rubbing. I also have 27x9.5 Grabber AT2s on 14" wheels on my 2wd Isuzu pickup and it goes through just about anything I aim it at. I'm totally sold on these tires and will not be going back to BFGs ever again.

Check out Tirerack.com for fitment. I called the 800 number and talked to a sales associate to find out what 15" steelies would fit the E and they were very helpful. I bought both sets of tires from them and the service was top notch.

Good luck with your 18"s and have fun.:)

i have just put a set of AT-2's on my E. i put 225/75/16 and in this tire design it looks like this is about as big as you can go without rubbing issues. i have nothing but good words for this tire and with all the snow that jut fell here where i live i had no problems getting around without chains. HTH
