sorry if its been discussed prior! But, I have an '05 awd ex that i would like to upgrade to sc wheels. is it ok to do this since the sc is only front wheel drive?
also, anyone have any comments on ride quality and noise levels with the lower profile sc tires?
thanks! david

They work fine.:)
The only way to hear more road noise in an E is to open the door while driving.

You will have no problem with the SC wheels on a 4wd. You might notice the difference in ride quality with the lower tires, but it's not significant imo.

a lot of us have done that wheel swap. a lot of the members i know personally have not used the same tire profile as the sc comes with 225/55/r18. myself and other members with 18" rims like to use 235/55/r18 to fill the wheel well better. that is what is currently what wraps around my 18s..

Like Abulevan said, a lot of us have done the wheel swap. I want to say that I was one of the very first owners to do this wheel swap. It works fine. See the pic's below, my Element with the SC Wheels. I am running 235/55/18 Hankook Ventus AS R07 tires.

Be sure to post some pics when the SC wheels and rubber are on your E. :)
