Why can I buy an Acura RSX for 18k-19k (low model) and get a loaner when I bring it in for service, but if I buy a 21k Honda Element I don't get a loaner? I paid more for my car and it is basically the same company!

I had an Acura before. the loaners were because Acura is considered an upscale brand, therefore the extra TLC. I get a loaner from my dealer if it's a warranty repair. But for regular maintenance, nope.

I understand why just the brand name gets the loaner but my point is it is the same company and I paid more for mine. I wasn't trying to start an argument, just think it is a litlle messed up. I was looking at Accords this weekend with my girlfriend and you can spend 28k + on a loaded leather, ex, sunroof, navigation, v6 etc.... Accord. I would expect to get a loaner for warranty work if I spent that much, but a kid that buys a stripped integra can get one because the H badge touches at the top to make an A? Just a little off I think. Plus they recycle the cars. I saw on Car and Driver tv this weekend the new RSX or TSX or whatever....the guy said it was nothing more than the european version accord with the acura emblem.

Our Accord is Japan's Inspire. Japan's Accord is Acura's new TSX. etc...

IT'S ALL THE SAME! Just depends on what badge they pull out of the bin and put on the car.

I'm tired of being marketed! Only Americans would belive Acura's are better than Honda's (and believe they are better for owning an Acura than a Honda)....but they are all the same.

I deal with a honda only dealer, and they have loaners for thier customers. I think its one of the strengths of the dealership. just seems right a good dealer would offer it

Ddin't think you were trying to start an argument dude. I was just saying that I have noticed the same thing and I agree with you. But, Acura has nothing like the E. But, I for one like the accord coupe better than the CL Type S though. To me, 8,000 extra is not worth it for 20 extra horsies. But, I do REALLY like the new TL. Go figure.....If Honda would just have one big lineup where everyone could get what they wanted....
