I wish I could be there. I have wanted to have a meet some fellow EOC’s sense I signed up. But I have to get a new hip in a few weeks and just good for short trips right now. When that is done I hope to get to some meets this summer.

It's too bad you can't make it. I would still like to try a Gulf meet sometime in the near future.

It would be great. I will be up to driving by April if all goes well. The area has a lot to see and do I think Battleship Park in Mobile would be a great place to have a meet. There is a lot to see and do. Or Gulf Coast State Park in Gulf Shores may be better. Camp sites of all types. A lot of motels in the area. The beach, fishing, the big outlet mall in Foley, big water park in gulf shores, public golf courses in the area and much more. We may be able to draw some E’s from Al, West Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Do it before Hurricane Season.

...just in case there was any confusion. ;-)

My husband should be racing in Talladega about noon and the restaurant is about an hour away from there, so I doubt we'll be able to make it :(

Well, I had fun at Longhorn. I had a big ribeye, fries, and something called a Chocolate Stampede. They could have warned me it was enough for six people...I only ate 3-people's worth:rolleyes:

Hang in there, BigAl, when we started the Meet-N-Eats up in the Mid-South, there were many a month when very few (if any) showed up. It will get better.
