after driving 9 different SUVs at 5 dealerships...having to deal with
horrible new and used car sales man...............
I guess a woman is still not respected .

I sold cars in my younger years and know the routine...
so tuesday I walk in the dealership and say to the sales man :

I need a car by saturday
I pay cash
my budget $10 000 to $ 15 000

you would think I am a good lead , but no , I still have to go and suffer
with their poor salesman ship.........

I drove a Suzuki Virara 2002 soft top and loved it
a big bad red Dodge truck did not notice that I was stopped together with the cars in front of me and slammed in to me going 40 miles an hour
needless to say my car was a total and so was the car he pushed me in too
I wanted another Suzuki but did not like the new Suzuki SUVs , poor gas milage...etc...
looked at the KIA Sportage and test drove it ,
did not like the seats and the brakes felt bad
the salesman refused to let me drive on a busy street
and told me , not to worry about the brakes I will get used to them !!??

What an idiot........totally in stress I drove past a Honda dealer
just to check it out , so I drove in to the lot but somehow boxed myself in with that big rental they gave me ...feeling realy stupid I go inside to have somebody help me when I back up.........
the salesman was very nice and helped me . but DID ask why I drove in
I told him my story , just then in the corner of my eye i saw a tangerine Element , I had seen the E on the road but could not decite if it was the ugliest thing I ever saw.......

he told me why don't you sit in it ( he was good )
the minute I sit in it I knew this is the car I want , now he asked me
if I like to take it on the highway to see how it drove
wow .......we have a professional sales man here

long story short it is a 2007 with 20 000 miles on it and full warranty
$17325 out the door:)
I am now a happy Element owner and love every moment I drive in it.
ps.........I send the other dealerships a picture of me and my new car
some even called me back defending their behavior
some still call to tell me I can have a KIA for $15 000 out the door
just don't get it
so this is my story with a very happy ending
LOVE MY ELEMENT:-P
ps. sorry about my english
