OK here is whats going on. It's for he element. Everything works great but I want the added control to my sub & base.

- Aftermarket HU has no sub output.
- Stock Honda Amp
- Stock sub
- Speakers are connected via harness to to amp. HU Has 4 RCA outs for speakers not being used.
- Connected the stock sub to the rear RCA. Only the red since it's mono.

The deck can control base. But not a seperate control for the sub alone. How and what can I add to have control of the sub on the fly?

PAC LC-1 should do the trick

I think it's mike's mod where they take a small aftermarket amp and power the stock sub with it and those involved were impressed with the result. That would be the only way to do it other than the tone controls in your HU. Do a search for Mike's mod (I think).

I don't see how this will accomplish what he wants to accomplish. Like I said, use the PAC LC-1. Plug it into the unused rear rca outputs on the headunit, then hook up the outputs of it to the factory amps sub input. The LC-1 has a knob on it that can no be used to control the output levels of the rear channels. :cool:
