I could use some help.

My stock factory keeps cutting out. Sometimes it does it when I drive down the road, sometimes right when I start. And it isn't popping in and out, it just goes out and then if I wait long enough with the stereo off I can turn it right back on. It is very odd.

Also, it doesn't like shut the power off, hell I can still play the CD player, but without any sound.

Final weird thing, after it cuts out I can crank up the sound and hear weird bass noises.

Anyone have any idea what I need to do?

I see in your sig that you changed your speakers. It is possible that one of your speaker leads is making contact with the metal inside the door. That would give a lights are on, but nobodies home type of situation. You may have to pull each speaker to check it or unplug the output side of the amp and use a DMM to check for continuity between the speaker leads and the vehicle chassis.

do you have kids? you might have coins in your radio. i work at honda, it's the most common problem. I would still check your speaker connections as well.
