I've seen an afwul lot of you around lately, I was just wondering if there are any other Fort Collins E owners on the EOC...
I have a GGM and have seen GGM's around most often, I see a SMM on the CSU campus regularly, I passed an EBP on Prospect today, and a couple of times I have seen a SSM driving down Center in the morning. I've seen 2 different black E's and one SOP at Paninos next to CSU. (I always get excited when I see another E)
I have my EOC sticker on my E in case some of the Ft Collins E owners don't already know about us... hoping to bring in some other just curious people also.

I know this doesn't count, but I went to school at CSU way back in the 70s...that tells you how old I am. I now live in S Florida, but I miss Ft. Collins very much. When you said Prospect Street, I could still picture that in my mind.
I just bought my NBP E last Friday. I have a whole 102 miles on it. My family and I are going to take a road trip to northern Georgia next week. I can't wait. I love driving the E! What's it like driving your E in those high mountains? Does it handle the curves well? I used to love driving the mountain roads when I was there. It would probably be even more fun in my E. Your E sounds like it is really decked out. Good luck to you.

The E is the perfect car for this area. We have taken it through unplowed door deep snow to trailheads for snowshoeing with no problems, and the snow/mud from the snowshoes on the way home is cleaned up so easy, on trips up to Breckenridge it has no problems with hills at speed and we have taken in down several dirt roads in bad condition to get to trailheads where you only see the big trucks parked. I don't know if you ever went to the Holiday Twin Drive-In, but the Element has also proved to be the perfect drive in car. I really can't say enough about how perfect the E is for us.
I'm graduating in December and we will probably be moving on from Colorado - you sure went a long way over to Florida. I can't imagine living without mountains, so I'm really hoping my husband and I will be able to stay in Colorado or somewhere similar.
Thanks for the post!

You are lucky to be living amongst those beautiful Rockies. I miss them tremendously. If I ever get the chance, I would like to live somewhere out West again where there are some mountains. We just returned from a road trip to North Georgia. The mountains don't compare to the Rockies, of course, but we saw some beautiful streams and waterfalls. I miss those the most. The sound of a babbling stream or a roaring waterfall is heavenly music to me.
I'm still kind of a baby with my E. I wanted to go for a hike to this lake, but you had to drive down this long muddy dirt road. Since my E was still so new...only a couple of weeks old with fewer than 600 miles...I wimped out and didn't drive on it. I know that once I drive it for awhile and get a few road dings, it won't bother me as much. That's what the E is for...FUN!
The road trip to North Georgia and back with many side trips put on 1,650 miles. Now that my E is "broken in," maybe I won't be such a wimp.
Good luck to you! Keep studying, you only have a few more months to go and than it's graduation time.

Greetings,
I am new to this forum and not quite sure if I am replying correctly. We live in Loveland (just south of Fort Fun ) My husband and I have a copper colored EX with a roof rack. We love it! We got it Feb '04 and have been to Phoenix 3 times and the midwest 2ce so far. It's a great cruising car!
We have also run up Vail pass mostly in 5th with no problems. We are artists and do a lot of the mountain shows. The on-demand 4WD is amazing - felt it kick in last spring during that late afternoon late spring snowfall.
All the best,
Sheron
P.S. What do all the acronyms (spelling?) mean?

Hey good luck, Fox Ryde! Keep passing the word about the EOC. I love Ft. Collins. It has really grown since I was there 28 some odd years ago.
