I have a clicking noise from front brakes on my E.I've seen TSB issued for CRV with same problem
I am wondering is PI already issued by Honda for Element in order to fix this problem?
Any response from dealers will be very appreciated.

As had been said at beginning about this topic:

..."We're fortunate to have several representatives from dealerships participating on the boards and I'm sure we'll have more. If you have a question for a salesperson, ask here"...
I'm wondering are any (Honda? We know Honda for quality??) dealers or costumer reps will response for any messages concerning some technical problems, except sales issues, when they going to make some money?
 :?:

The brakes clicking on honda cars (Element, CRV, Oddyssey, Pilot) are caused by slight play in the calipers and pads. When you are parked for a long time, The brakes will clik. (one side at a time) Also, when you change from moving forward to backwards, they will click as the pads shift up and down in the calipers. Nothing to worry about (pads were designed that way to allow for heat expansion) but sometimes it is annoying. I hope this helps.

There is finally a Bullitin out on all 02 CRVs, some select 03 CRVs and All 03 Elements to try and correct the brakes clicking when changing direction. The Service Bullitin Number is 03-033.

Repair is to include replacing lower brake pad retaining clips with newer updated ones.

Part Number for new clip (2 required)
45237-S9A-A01

Normal Warranty Applies to this procedure.

Hope this helps!! :)
