:?:
can someone tell me where I can find an engine number?
all I can see is a sticky label with numbers on, but assume this must be a part number.

The engine number can be found on the side if the timing cover.Look for the white sticker with a number starting in K24...

Thanks Lizzard, it seemed an important requirement for registration in the UK. I am now driving what is most likely the only 'E' in the UK, sure causes a lot of heads to turn, and it cruises like a dream (even though the driver sits kerbside)

Have a great 'E'xmas all you guys!

Obviously too late to bring this up, but I will anyway: did you consider going for a JDM (japanese domestic market) version of the Element, which would have been configured for right-side driving? If so, can you discuss the issues that prevented you from pursuing that course?

Also, I'd love to see pictures of the car "out of it's normal Element"! :)

Good idea Brendan, I did look for an E in the JDM , but couldn't find one under $27k, which seemed a lot extra to pay for the luxury of sitting on the right. If anyone knows of a better connection for JDM cars I would be very interested to look, as am considering a second E for my business. Hope to have some pictures soon. :D [/img]
