I do not nitice much heat coming from the bottom vents and my feet/legs stay cold when I drive and the passenger side is same. Even when I have it set to blow from the bottom there is not much heat coming from there. Thoughts???

chans7784,

Are you sure you have things set right?

I have had to shut off the heat several times, even Jan in NH. The heater on my E works too well.

If it does not blow right, take it back to your dealer, let them check it.

will have to have them check that when I bring it in for the accessories. All the other heat vents work excellent but not much coming from under the front to warm up the tootsies!

it has been over a month how are those vents doing? was there a defect or otherwise?

I have not heard or noticed any problems myself..

I noticed, too, that blower does not direct much air to the feet (even though my feet don't get cold). I did a little snooping and i think here is the answer. It appears Honda has biased the vent system to blow more air to the rear seat pax. I pushed the front pax seat all the way forward, turned the vent control to feet position, cranked up the fan and voila, the back seat outlets had more air flowing out them than the front seat outlets.

works fine for me.... but i'm in Texas, so maybe my feet just don't get cold enough to notice :?:

Its been cold here in Detroit (5 degrees last week). I did notice when I have the defrost and feet blower on at the same time, my feet are a little cold. Even after driving for a half hour.

I have had teh same problem. The dealer says that you must shut off teh side vents to getthe lower vents to work better. I don't buy it. Please post if anyone has found a solution. Do all of your side vents work when you ahve teh floor heater on as well.

climbfsh,

I think your dealer might be right, it shuts off one exit, creating more volume and pressure through the other vents...at least i think. This is common in toyotas also. Closing the side vents will cause more air to come out of the other ones
