I remember seeing a thread on this a while back. Where is the best place to purchase this partical brand and who has one installed on their Element?
I prefer the 2 inch over the 1 inch because of have a bicycle rack and a cargo tray that will fit that size opening. I do NOT want to use an adaptor.

I dont like using an adaptor either........but wasnt sure which 2" fit ....any sites only seem to list the 1 1/4" because Element is only rated for class I apparently because the're afraid some idiot is gonna try to pull a Class II trailer! I really only want the 2" because of the accessory availability for bikes, covers etc is better.......I ended up giving in and getting the 1 1/4" Hidden Hitch (quality MUCH better than the draw tite AND no DRILLING REQUIRED)
Here are some Great install pics from web.

Valley makes a 2" for the E. Do a search for Valley Hitch and you should be able to find a link. I think it's either sportrack.com or sportsrack.com.

Just call local a U-Haul hitch installer. They have a version of the Valley 2 inch Class 3. They can stock it within days. You can look at and buy it or reject it. I have one and I am not going to be as silly as to try and pull a yacht. A little cheaper online but not by much and its more convenient to go local. I almost got mine painted another color (silver) by U-haul but this model does not have this option.
