Our first year has quickly blown by and we're about to celebrate our first birthday. On Tuesday January 6, Element Owners Club will officially be one year old. In our first year, here are a few things that have taken place:
1. We have added over 3,500 members - a number that is incredible for an auto-related club. Just ask some of the other big site admins. They'll tell you that (they've told me that).
2. We have assisted in the sale of approximately 50-100 Elements based on the information and sales assistance we provide to our members and readers.
3. We have assisted Honda by providing the Feedback Forum where you can give them input into the direction of future versions of the Element. This was by their request and yes, they are reading our boards.
4. We have given away thousands of dollars worth of prizes and credits. Special thanks to some of our sponsors like Trevor at H-and-A Accessories and Karen at Cloud Rider for their generosity and support of this site.
5. We have benefited from the help of several helpful and generous mods on our boards, including: GYPSYTDA, RML, LusciousHellCat, eMass, Dano and StLouisPenguin. Forgive me if I left anyone out. You guys have been very helpful over the last year - helping us make EOC what it is today.
6. We have collected over 3,000 cars for the Toys For Tots Campaign.
7. We are still moving forward. Element Owners Club hits one year and we intend on keeping this thing rolling. We will get bigger. We will get better. We will also have more meets and fun events planned. In fact, we are even considering a national meet or some large regional meets. Who knows?
Please continue to support this site by spreading word about us to others. You can also support our site by buying merch when we make it available. We will soon be selling long-sleeved shirts among other things. And, we will be getting new EOC stickers that are a slightly different material - based on your feedback.
Also, we will celebrate our birthday with a special giveaway night on the 6th. I will post details later.
