How do you guys like the greasy floor when coated with snow/slush? I'm having difficulty bracing myself when entering the car with wet boots in this weather. I'm thinking of getting the floor mats to help with this problem.
The nice thing about the polyurethane-coated floor is that cleaning the salt residue is a snap!

We get plenty of snow and slush here also, but on a serious note, my luck has depended more on which shoes than the floor itself. When I first read your post I pondered if my floor had been scuffed up over time to offer better traction, but I doubt it. That said, I own at least a six-pack of Sperry deck shoes, but one particular pair is like wearing ball-bearings on my feet!
It sure as hell amuses my neighbors though! Didn't think these old legs could flail that fast, I'm sure! Or go get mats or carpet, what the heck.

I thought the floor was pretty slippery when my shoes were wet from rain, but the all season floormats don't have the same problem. It's the main reason I got the mats.

I put some winter rubber mats from Canadian Tire and they fit really well. They hold almost 2 cups of water so they're great for snow and slush. I paid about $30 for each mat and am happy with them. Makes it even easier to clean the floor too because I just spray off the mat and then wipe out anything that didn't stay on the mat.

Boy, Dan, you are just asking for one of those storms that drops a foot on North Georgia, aren't you?

it was raining the day i drove my E home from the dealership. yes, i noticed the floor is extremely slippery when it is wet. more so for the rear seat passengers when they tried to climbed on to the slightly elevated floor.
installed Honda all weather rubber mat two days later. problem solved!

Maybe a non-slip oil-based paint with sand particles will solve the problem?
Now, do I use a roller or a brush?
