After this past weekends experience I find that the Element's A/C condensor is not properly protected. After researching for a couple of days I have found plenty of after market products that could fix this problem. However, I shouldn't have to go out and buy a grille cover to protect what is underneath of my hood. I bought my Element less then a month ago.

For future considerations please think about designing the front so it doesn't leave it vulnerable to flying objects such as blocks of snow flying from trucks, stones ect..

This can all be prevented and I shouldn't have a big dent in my condensor.
