while lowering my element this week, i noticed a "wet area" on my lower subframe, looked aroud, it appears that my rack and pinion is leaking................. checked my fluid resevoir and noticed the power steering fluid level was real low......made an appointment with the deal for 3 days from now to check it out, but i am disgusted,

ANY ONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM!!!!

I posted it here somewhere, but that was back in the summer time. Mine was doing the same thing, so I took it in and they ended up replacing the whole steering rack. They did an excellent job and I haven't had any more problems since.

went to honda this morning, i thought they were going to bitch for being lowered, and try to say that it caused the problem....... most of the techs
admired my lowered E, they put it on the rack, and found the leak,
sounds the same as yours, they gave me the choice, pull the leaking
rack and attempt to fix the leak or replace the whole rack, i chose the latter, with no problem, my appointment is set for next week.......
love my honda dealship, no problems so far...........
