Is there anything a guy can do for the floor of his E after he's done washing it to give it a little bit of shine without making it slippery? I know all about Armor All and fogging the windows up, etc. Something just to put a little lustre back on it without people wiping out in really ugly, muscle-tearing ways when they try to board the box.

Well, the reason that movie theater floors are all shiny is the layers of sugary soft drinks poured over them. Heck, it's got an sure-grip texture to it, sometimes I can hardly get my shoe free!
Perhaps...ah, nevermind. :)

PS - CINEMUCK: The combination of popcorn, soda, and melted chocolate which covers the floors of movie theaters.

Maybe a light spritz of Orange Crush?
I wondered this myself and haven't come up with anything. I think everything that you would use to make it shiny would also be slick. So, I thought about getting the floor mats. But then I thought it would be silly to cover the floor with mats.
Anyway, I don't have any ideas, but I sympathize.

One has to wonder exactly what is meant when Honda says the E's floor has a "urethane coating." It suggests the possibility that what we have here is a rubber or vinyl flooring material that has been given a urethane overcoating. This begs the question of whether the way to occasionally dress up the floors might just be to recoat them with a urethane product such as:

I don't know the answer; I'm just asking???
