Has anyone experienced a problem where the battery goes dead for no apparent reason? I live in a relatively warm region (Louisiana) and my usual trips are more than 15 minutes in length so cumulative discharge of the battery is not likely. I have the Silencer alarm system installed on the vehicle (did not order it, it was there when I got it), and it has always been a poor performer. I have to be within a foot or so of the car to get it to function. Yesterday it locked my wife out of the car, disabled the ignition and drained the battery all in about three hours! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
