after detailing the replacement fiasco of the windshield replacement in another thread, I brought my E in a week ago to have the hood replaced (the windshield installer dented the hades out of it) . i got my E back today!!... yeeeheeeee..whooohooo...

now the bummer.

A) I left detailed instructions they were to match the paint, and not paint or buff anything except the hood. ...they painted the new hood . nice! but then they also did the front fenders. the top of the passenger side one is lightly orange peeled. . they lost one of the rubber hood bumpers under the hood near the hood latch as well as a small abrasion in the passenger door just in front of /under the mirror.

b) the inside of my car when it was returned, looks like a tornado hit it. one seat folded up against the side window. another flat down. but unlatched.
my trick little plastic clip i use on the weregonnadie handle for dry cleaning? on the floor broken in three places, the handle is scratched. interior plastic scratched up. the tension rod i made for hooking the cargo net to? looks like it was run over. paint scraped from it in a dozen places (now repainted) .

I called the dealer, and ranted and raved. and also said im not asking for anymore repairs. (every time i have them repair something they screw up. it snowballs into something worse.) and actually. it isnt the dealer on either of these jobs. its the outside contractors they are bringing in to do the work.

sad. my dealer keeps trying to make me happy. but they just cant help but bugger it up.
