:D After having my E for a week, there were things I'd like to see Honda change about her. Nothing major, just make some mods that would improve upon her appearance.

I'd start off with dual sun/moon roofs and make them both electric. Don't get me wrong, I love my moon roof, and I've even taken it completely out, once. Once was enough to know, I'd never do that again. :?

The back seats; find some way to rotate them 180, in other words, I can sit in my back seat and look out the back hatch. Just an idea. Also, why not make room for at least 3 folks, of normal size, in the back seats?

The door lock, or the fact that the passenger seat Doesn't have one?? What's up with that? And make keyless entry a standard option. What with only two doors that are accessible??

The Arm rest, or the lack there of on the passenger's side. I'm truly tired of sharing mine, and I like the OEM arm rest, with my other half.

The back windows, on the swing out doors. Why not allow for them to be rolled down? Or is there something with the doors that would prevent that function?

Well, that's it for now. I've got a few more ideas and I had considered writing Honda directly. Anyone else out there with ideas to make the E better??? Or just cooler?? :D

:D I almost forgot one.

What's up with the glove box without a Light? I've never owned a truck/car without a light in the glove box???

Even my '88 Honda Civic, which is almost dead at this point... Has a glove box light.

E On!

Yeah: glove box light, footwell lights, and in-dash storage lights, all keyed off the gauge-cluster dimmer are really needed...

...well, by me at least.

I'd like the dash light switch to be placed somewhere so that you don't have to reach throught the steering wheel... translating to "Put the switch someplace normal and logical!"

Next to the cruise control switch?

I would like to be able to see the top of my speedometer. No Matter where I move the wheel, the seat or the seat back, if I am sitting in a comfortable postion with my short little legs, I cant see the area of the speedomoter from about 50 mph to 80 mph. That is where my speed is most of the time. I think a simple soluton would be to allow one more upper postion in the adjustment to the sterring wheel. One more, thats all I need. Oh yea, that battery is a joke. I get more power from 2 flashlight batteries!

Try adjusting the seat height down a little. I found that I couldn't see the speedometer top with the seat at standard height, but by lowering it a little you can see the whole thing.

As for changes, as much as I love the "suicide" doors, my biggest complaint is that you have to open the front doors first. I don't think it's that way on any other "suicide door"-style vehicle, is it? Saturn coupe, Mazda RX-8, or the various pickups... it's really annoying, especially when you're dropping kids off at school and the one in the back can't get out unless the one in front opens their door and takes their seat belt off.

Love the suicide doors, but please, make them independently openable.

Other than that, no complaints -- the Element is a nearly perfect vehicle!

I wondered what to call it, some call it a car, some call it a truck, some call it an SUV, and it's not really any of those. I think I've finally hit on calling it a "Sport Utility VAN", because in functionality it really is most like a van, although encompassing the best virtues of SUV, truck, and car as well.

I'm going to have to agree with that one. My seat is all the way down, my steering wheel is all the way up, my seat back is reclined about 2 clicks from normal, and I still can't see from 50-70 mph without stooping to look through the steering wheel.
