How to (get there):
From SF/North Bay:
-Take Int-80 EAST
-Take Int-880 SOUTH
-Exit Marina Blvd WEST (2 exits past the Oakland airport)
-RIGHT at Mulford Point Drive (2-miles from exit)
-Follow it to the end to arrive at Mulford Point Park (dead ends)

From Hayward/South Bay:
-Take I-880 NORTH
-Exit Marina Blvd WEST (if you pass the Honda Dealership/WRONG WAY!)
-RIGHT at Mulford Point Drive (2.2-miles from exit)
-Follow it to the end to arrive at Mulford Point Park (dead ends)

From CoCo County:
-Take Hwy-24 WEST
-Take Int-980 to I-880 SOUTH
-Exit Marina Blvd WEST (2 exits past the Oakland airport)
-RIGHT at Mulford Point Drive (2-miles from exit)
-Follow it to the end to arrive at Mulford Point Park (dead ends)

From Tracy/Tri-Valley:
-Take Int-580 WEST
-Merge onto Hwy-238 NORTH (to Oakland)
-Take I-880 NORTH (STAY in your lane and take SECOND exit)
-Exit Marina Blvd WEST (if you pass the Honda Dealership/WRONG way!)
-RIGHT at Mulford Point Drive (2.2-miles from exit)
-Follow it to the end to arrive at Mulford Point Park (dead ends)

Once you exit from Int-880 it is approx 2.1 to 2.5 miles to Mulford Point. You will pass 2-stoplights (a railroad crossing in-between) and 2-stop signs.

IMPORTANT: Remember to stay in the LEFT lane when passing the railroad tracks otherwise you'll have to turn right. After passing your first stop sign, you'll start seeing palm trees and a TALL San Leandro Marina sign-KEEP GOING!

If you pass the Horatio's Restaurant on your right, you went too far. You're supposed to take that right (Mulford Point Drive/its the 2nd stop sign). You'll see the park at the very end. It is on the Bay and the bathrooms are nearby. You'll be passing the bathrooms on your left after the big left turn.

Let's make this a potluck so that folks won't be needing to bring a ton of food and drinks. I'll gladly be bringing brats to grill (I'll bring my baby Weber grill and plenty o'charcoal), water to drink and my favorite "fermented adult" beverage. You guys can bring what you want. So PLEASE post your potluck item so that there won't be duplicates.

Looking forward to seeing everyone that can make it and come as you are! If you want to do some mods (Serj22, AztecRol, Eclectic707) bring 'em! Bring the necessary tools and I'll bring the digi-cam to document it!

If you want to fish, bring your favorite surf rod/rod holder, bait and a clip-on bell. I hear that the sea bass and stripers are running so bring live bull-heads (preferred bait) or mudsuckers. Low tide is at 11:12 am and high tide is at 5:04 pm so you'll be fishing the incoming tide.

If you want to play/practice some golf, there is a 9-hole, 18-hole and a double deck driving range just past Horatio's (Monarch Bay GC/Marina Exec GC).

There are plenty of places to ride your bicycle and there are running/walking areas nearby as well (measured 3-mile course). It's across from the golf courses at the end of Marina Blvd.

If you like to kayak, kiteboard, or windsurf the Bay is all yours! There is a launch before the 3rd stop sign just past Horatio's. You'll see the lot and Fairway Drive. You'll see an inlet then the launch ramp. Or just launch from from Mulford Point Park, it's up to you!

PS: FYI-All-American does good work and replaced my driver's side cargo window... They're outta Hayward and they work with Hayward Honda... Hope the insurance covers it...

I got that too. it's not the best, but it's sure is easy and it works on plastic.

I'm going to wax the car this Friday. I'm letting the dirt sit on it for now cringing, because I know I'll just have to wash it again in a couple days. Going to get a good claying to get rid of any more overspray and wax it.... going to bring out the metal flake again... I love looking at my car when it's clean...

Won't be able to make this one, as I'm moving to Marin from SF. But have a good time!

I know a guy up in Sacramento that changes my windshield for $180 cash. Let me know if you want his number. He's already changed 2 or 3 of them for me. This last one is a great brand, too bad I don't know the name. The bullseyes aren't spreading even though I haven't put that windshield resin stuff in em. The OEM has been the worst windshield to get. They love to spread the spider webs like they're going out of style. My only complaint about the guy is he likes to nick the paint behind the upper part of the windshield. It's not in a visible area, but I'm going to have to worry about rust there eventually.

So stoked can't wait til tomorrow oh boy this should be exciting. On that note I placed the eoc sticker on. It looks cool. Next thing to get the Japanese eoc sticker. See you all there no last minute flaking. :rolleyes:

As far as I know, I'll be there. I may be a few minutes late, but I'm still coming, don't think otherwise if I'm not there on time, and it looks like my wife will be coming. I just finished cleaning the car, and I'm looking for stuff to bring. I have hamburger meat too if we want any of that?

Otherwise, print out the directions on page 1 of this thread and if you get lost head towards the water and look for Horatio's and El Torito restaurant... Mulford Point Road is between those two restaurants... You will only make ONE turn off of Marina and that's the RIGHT onto Mulford Point Road... This is as far west as you can go without falling into the Bay...

Bring plenty of layers since we're waterside and it could get a bit windy... Also, your favorite flavor of lip balm since I played golf this afternoon and the winds did pick up later in the afternoon (I forgot my Chapstick!!!)...

See you all there... If you're late, no big deal just make it before 2pm so we can get the group photos...
