These were all taken in the same hour and a half timeframe of the ride. This region has the best mix of tree types in the whole area for fall colors.

BH, your element looks like it's in a parade, like someone mounted those signs right on it.

Beautiful place. I don't think I've seen so many different shades in one place before.

Here is one of an Aspen grove just starting to turn bright yellow-orange I found on a mountain quail hunt just West of the town of Bridgeport, CA. It was my E's first camping trip as well. Last week of September, I think.

I was going to take more pix of the place but got into a covey of Mountain Quail and forgot all about shooting pictures.
