Does anyone know if the Pilot backup sensor can be installed on the Element?

I dunno, But I put a 117 dB back up alarm that sounds like a dump truck backing up. Sure get people's attention when they hear it!!

Ger, where did you get your back up alarm? Can you turn it off when you're backing out of the garage in the early a.m. so as not to infuriate your neighbors?

And have you thought about a wide angle plastic lens to slap on the rear window? I just ordered one for $12, 'cause there isn't much visibility when backing up.

I got my back up alarm at the local truck supply store where one finds such odd items as stake bed latches for stake beds. I was thinking about such places as fork lift service centers where our fork lift at work has one. And yes, I did put a switch on it so I would not wake the neighbors. It is mounted on the flat panel just above the right knee.
