I just ordered one of these from Crutchfield:

The only complaint I had with my factory radio (2009 LX) was no aux input for my mp3 player. Actually, I'm a little hard of hearing certain high pitched sounds and probably wouldn't benefit much from any high end stuff anyway.

For the price with install gear, you did allright. This is not meant to discourage you but I dislike sony mobile audio. The sound quality is not the greatest but as you said your not worried about it. I am a Pioneer guy when it comes to hu's, I have 2 that are 10+ years old and work just as the day I bought them.
Just my $.02.

Especially on the lower end stuff ~$100 Crutchfield does actually have some decent deals once you include all the free installation stuff. The only experience I had with sony mobile was bad, but that was about 6 years ago and it was a bit cheaper deck in the old black suburban worktruck we had. Between the heat, humidity, and vibration, its not too surprising it didn't last long. I'll second pioneer though. Hopefully your experience is a bit better than mine. With all the stuff Crutchfield sends installation should be a breeze. Good luck!

You did good. The LX unit is pretty bare. Now at least you have a good starting point if you want to add an amp or upgrade your speakers.
