: Will any dealership deal with problems?

I may end up buying an element relatively far from home (150 miles).

If I end up having the common windshield or creaking problems reported here, and problems escelate will I have to take the vehicle back to the dealership I purchased the vehicle from?

There's a dealership not 20 miles from my house, but their salepeople are atrocious and I doubt I'd ever buy a car there. Their service department is probably OK..

Beind uder warranty, I'm assuming I can roll into any dealership whether I bought the car there or not...

Any advice or thoughts?

Thanks!

The warranty is from American Honda Motors, not the dealership. The service department bills Honda.

A few service writers/managers will get balky about it, but that's a people problem, not a Honda problem. The best course is to remove any dealer adverts stuck to your car (in other words, not shove it in their face) and you should be OK.

Thanks, that's what I figured.

Now thinking about it, post sale I don't think I've ever seen a salesperson again! So its not like they'd be any help in a warranty situation.

Thanks and nice avatar BTW!

When I had my windshield creak fixed, it took a few days. I ran into some hesitation from Service (not the dealer I bought from) to cover the loaner. If you run into the same issue, ask the service manager for all the info on your warrantee fix when it is done, so you can "Submit it to Honda Re-embursement Center". The mere mention of submitting repair costs/time/parts to Honda Corporate made my Service Manager do an about face on the rental car costs.
BTW- There is a Re-embursement center if they end up really fighting you. Submit the rental car receipt, and Honda should send you a check.
