I've posted this in the buying & test driving forum but thought I'd post it here as well...

I'm looking to purchase a 2004 SOP EX-S auto. So far I've spoken with several Seattle area dealers and have gotten the runaround.

I have a $20,990 vehicle cost price from Oregon, but hear about invoice based deals in the Seattle area. What did you pay for your E?

Anyone have any recommendations for dealerships to speak with for this vehicle that will competitively price the deal?

BTW, I saw the other post on the "wave". I'm also a Jeep owner and when we get the E I can assure you I'll be waving at ALL of you!

Thanks for any advice!

Special thanks to SeattlE who's been most hepful already and KIND!

I just got my 2003 SOP EXS AWD (but mine's a manual) a couple of weeks ago. I paid $19,715 for it. I don't know if 2004s are more.

I went right around the dealerships, and bought it through an auto broker: The Amazing Auto Woman (http://www.amazingautowoman.com/). She delivers the car to you personally. I highly recommend her. Let me know if you decide to buy it through her, because she does reward referrals. :D

I would think that the 2004 is going to be less negotiable than a 2003 "leftover". But hey, for another $1000 you get a passenger side armrest! Go here before buying anything: www.carbuyingtips.com
