A new Element of this type can be obtained for less than invoice now ($18,664.00) plus tax. I will pay a fair price for a used one, depending on the mileage.

Please don't send me a ridiculous price just because that is what you owe on yours, I am sorry that the dealer conned you into a situation where you are upside down on your car, but please review Ebay and Blue Book to get an idea of what these cars sell for.

If you live within a day's drive of Los Angeles, even better.

Why not pick up a local paper or better yet, plug in your variables into cars.com or similar and see what you get. I did it for you at the link below...

I can only assume that you want a 4WD DX since your pricing is so low and that's going to make your search hard because there's not many out there - 90% are EX's also your search will be even harder because you want a 5 speed. Thats going to be very hard to find since they were held up for a long time after the initial release and most owners who got them aren't parting w/them yet - it's still too soon. Also, most people ordered them specifically so there just aren't that many out there.

In fact, I know a couple of dealers who say they'll only special order 5 speeds because 99% of the people who come in want automatics so thier thinking is - why bother stocking them?

All I have to say is - thank goodness you didn't specify side airbags too!
