I just bought my '08 E today. The previous owner had a bug shield installed on it. I'm not too fond of these...So I took it off. I was cleaning of the remnants of this being on there for 3 years...There's one small spot on the lip of the hood. It's not a very big spot...about an inch in width, but big enough for it to bug me. (no pun intended) It looks like adhesive...But it might be a scratch on the paint. I tried a little Goof Off...Didnt work. I've seen other threads that talk about 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner. I'm gonna try this...But was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions.

I know people use clay bars for debadging, might give that a try along with some TLC.
