1. A way to open the passenger door for a seat-belted passenger and not strangle them. (Mom's not too happy about that!)
2. Speedometer visibilty...no matter where I tilt the steering wheel I still can't fullly see the needle. Hard to see the gas gauge too due to shadows.
3. I agree with another post regarding the visor. With it down you can't see traffic lights.

On #2: I finally gave in and adjusted my seat for better instrument cluster visibility.

On #3: true, but you can look around it to the right to see the light. My daily drive often puts me going west near sunset, and I actually find the sun visor very useful then, even if I have to "look around" to see the light.

1. seatbelts integrated into the seats would be nice, wouldn't they?
2. Me too. I set the cruise if I'm worried about it. I would like the cluster to be about 1/2 inch lower.
3. I don't understand how a visor is supposed to be able to both a) block the sun when it's low, and b) allow you to see a light up high. It seems like some sort of physical impossibility. Is it that you could peek around the visors on your old car, and can't peek around the E's for some reason?

I think in our old cars the slant of the windshield helped. With the more vertical windshield on the Element we lose the advantage of that angle.
