has anyone on here installed a dvd system in there e i was thinking about installin one and would to see some pics maybe of one done already and see what type of gear they used and what locations they used for the monitor

i havent posted about it really yet but i got a pioneer avh-p7500dvd about 2 months ago. i love it. i installed it myslef with some instruction from this website (altough some wire colors were wrong on the diagrams). i wouldnt do it yourself if youre not completely comfortable with it. anyway i can take pics if you want and try to post them. i havent done that before so i dont really know how but i will try.

my system is the 7500, backup camera, xm tuner, ipod, mtx 15 in a bandpass box (soon to be upgraded after the stealthbox), jl audio 500/1 amp, and rockford fosgate tweeters (that i ripped outta my old car after it was totaled by a drunk driver). the best part about that particular head unit is it makes VERY good use of the factory speakers through its own RTA and time alignment tests. the eq section is also phenominal so there is no reason why you cant get it sounding pretty darn good. its also got a touch screen 7inch LCD and detachable face (which was my origional criteria, and hard to find.) its got dolby digital surround sound and it plays back dvd-r discs (which is great because i can put anything on dvd). its also got a built in tv tuner. SORRY IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE A COMMERCIAL. i love my system :)

if youre confident enough, you can do it yourself (and hook it up illegally so you can watch and drive, wink wink... although i never do it myself cuz i dont have a death wish, but its fun for friends in the car). if you want pics i will post them. good luck :)

i dont have access to any storage on a server. is that the only way to post pics? im a little confused by the FAQ. any suggestions anyone?
