Bought my in September 2003. Last week while driving to work I heard a crack. I didn't see any damage at first but then noticed a small crack at the bottom of the windshield on the driver's side. The crack is now a serpentine 10 inches. It is as smooth as the rest of the windshield, No pit. No starring. I'm calling the dealer this week and will let you know what happens. Approx 7500 miles. Other than this problem my Element has been a joy to own and drive.
