Anyone got some good ideas about where and how to mount my GPS V in my new smm Element? I'm not terribly mechanical. Right now it's plugged into the passenger side outlet and sitting on the driver's side dash. Loooong cord. Vicki

i too have a gps V but i dont think im going to mount it to the dash with the included car mount. ive read other in other posts that the dash, at least the center panel above the radio, is easily damaged by something so light as a suction cup. so id assume that an adhesive would probably hurt it even more. i just use batteries and keep it on the drivers side dash like yours. but then again, i just dont use it too much anymore...

i have posted this link before, but will post again. this is what I use for my IPAQ. not sure if it is big enough for your thingy, but it is very versatile.
