: Things you love, things you hate: Interior
dstranathan 03-14-2003, 07:46 PM Love:
BIG windows. It's like a video game up front!
BIG mirrors. best I have ever seen.
BIG dash.
Nice audio system (sub sounds pretty good for OEM).
Seats are molded rather stiff, like an office chair. I like that.
Headrests are very tall.
Auto-window (driver side) is handy.
Valet key.
Aux (MP3) jack. Love it!
Verticle lift. seats feel nice and high up.makes the car feel like it has lots of ground clearance.
shifter in dash up high.
Dash shelf (perfect for my iPod).
Hate (well, dislike anyway...):
No vanity mirror on drivers side? Huh?
No light in the vanity mirror (passenger side).
Small glovebox. The owner's manuals barely fit. LOL
Blindspots? Maybe I will get used to them.
Rides a little rough. Not bad.
Sunroof in rear and not front. Not sure how practicle this will be.
No bungie straps on passanger side.
No mute button on stereo. Bummer.
No mirror heater option.
No heated seat option.
Not much storage for jumpers, cleaning stuff, parts, etc
OK. Your turn. Fire away!
Hawaiian E 03-14-2003, 08:12 PM Hate:-such a strong word...
No vanity mirror on drivers side? Huh?
So you don't get into an accident-or cause one...
No light in the vanity mirror (passenger side).
too bad...
Small glovebox. The owner's manuals barely fit. LOL
Yeah...
Blindspots? Maybe I will get used to them.
Just turn your head quickly...
Rides a little rough. Not bad.
actually pretty good...
Sunroof in rear and not front. Not sure how practicle this will be.
good for camping, bad for driving...
No bungie straps on passanger side.
doesn't it have a pocket?
No mute button on stereo. Bummer.
Or at least the thing allows instant lowering of the volume
No mirror heater option.
don't need it
No heated seat option.
don't need it
I like pretty much everything, except the fact that the accessories cost too much to be installed at the dealer, and the damn ugly fog light pockets
ibutchman 03-14-2003, 11:31 PM heated mirror in Michigan would be nice.
mmathews 03-14-2003, 11:45 PM And a heated front windshield spot for the wipers in freezing rain/sleet.
Simon 03-15-2003, 03:49 AM Problems:
That damn flimsy spare tire cover that is waiting to crack... Piece of Crapola
Rear Hatch doesn't shut right most of the time.
Wishlist:
I'd like a center console between the front seats - some hidden storage.
Heated Mirrors
More Ground Clearance.
Add an OPTION for the EX: Recaro seats. An $1,000 option on the EX to get Recaros - they are great seats.
Likes:
No Carpet - If you think about it, it doesn't make sense to put carpet in vehicles - 98% of them anyway.
Dash layout - color scheme
Rear seats recline - and independently.
Good Heater
Good Dark tinted glass around vehicle.
puppy 03-15-2003, 08:45 AM i love just about everything -- especially:
shelf in dash
stick shift in dash
The one thing that i really wish for, oddly enough, is more storage. Hidden storage of some sort would be great -- somewhere to put/store my jumper cables, air compressor, small toolbox.... those little pockets on the side of the storage area just don't cut it....
boneheadz 03-15-2003, 09:14 AM puppy, Simon
I picked up console yesterday. installing today. I have to figure out how to ancor with out drilling. i post the pics on my web site tommorow.

Seats go up... lotsa room to change in
Wetsuit will not cause carpet to mold
Easy to clean
It has a honda engine
My bike will roll in
My 9' 2" surfboard fits
Love the tailgate to sit on
It was inexpensive
It is fun
Water resistant seats
Pretty good gas mileage
Was able to get it without options
The manual shifting
The stadium seating
Leg and head room
Element owners club ;)
Dislikes/wish list
Have to slam hatch
Wish it had a hybrid engine...
Blind spot
Backing up you can't see much
Give me a cup holder I can reach easily
The steering wheel sits in front of gauges
Things slide around on the slick floor surface
Keith
Aykew 03-16-2003, 12:42 AM It's the very small stuff I love...
Cubbie by the ignition fits my garage door opener perfectly
Square holder between cupholders fits fries carton perfectly
Anti-glare guages
Dual Trip Meters (snazzy white-on black!)
Ring of light around the edges of each guage pod
Fabric (vs vinyl) headliner
Big, meaty, grippy steering wheel
Auto-down and up window switch
Rear sunroof (gives my soon-to-be-born baby something to look at)
Concealed LATCH anchors w/ sliding rear covers
Easy wiper and climate controls
Everything that's adjustable does so with a click
Bigger-than-it-looks ceiling storage area
BIG visors with BIG slide-out panels
No creaks or rattles!!! (This is VERY important to me!)
And the small stuff I... don't like so much
Awkward left foot placement
Putting steering wheel down blocks speedometer
Stupid Cruise Control button (why can't it just be on?)
Low hand brake placment
Have to unbuckle to open rear door
Rear side pockets too small
Notice there are a LOT more positives than negatives! I LOVE MY ELEMENT!!!
:D
Ger Brassfield 03-16-2003, 10:05 PM Well lessee
Likes. EVERYTHING within easy reach, including the ham radio I installed.
the lights.........enough for me
Honda engine and grade logic transmission while on cruise
No odd noises
Dislikes? maybe a blind spot of the left front pillar when I wasn't used to it.
The seats with the covers hold moisture within my shirt on a long trip. (I can buy a seat cover with rollers on it like a back massage, ya know?)
More hidden storage would be nice.
Elementary 03-17-2003, 10:12 AM Although we haven't got one YET, we love:
the tail gate (very few SUV's with tailgates and this adds more versatility to a vehicle - most SUV's have those big awkward side or swing-up doors that require so much room)
the spare tire is safe inside the vehicle (although could be under a pile of stuff but that's Ok)
the rough & tough interior.
Dislikes - the blind spot for shoulder checking (especially when the rear side windows are iced up.
Overall, we like far more than we dislike. Just think how fuel consumption would improve if the vehicle were slightly more streamlined on the exterior!
rodaniel 03-17-2003, 06:08 PM I really appreciate the little overhead stash and the extra cupholders. My old pickup had neither.
I do wish that there was a bit more room for my left foot. But then again, I've got big feets. :D

Likes:
The BIG dash and Windshield (it's beggin for a hula-girl)
The look and feel of the instruments.
The Stereo (no audiophile- but I think it's thumppin!)
The floor and seat material-easy to clean for a slob like me
Heater's good
Air's good
like the overhead storage.
Looking out the tinted windows to see the people pointing and smiling
:?
Dislikes:
limited storage space- few hidden places to stash $$$ stuff
things sliding around dash shelf
tiny glove box ( you COULD fit gloves in there though- not big ones...)
no pre laced bungies- come on- how hard (and cheap) could that have been Honda?
tilt steering blocks spedometer
flimsy spare cover- though it did hold up to my 5 year old and 2 year old nephews bouncing on it.
No standard fold down 5ft wide plasma screen and in-dash DVD player for "roughing it" when camping... (ok call me picky! :P )
boneheadz 03-18-2003, 01:55 PM I really like:
the over head storage
the leather steering wheel cover
the automatic up feature on the drivers windor
The door pockets
the hight adjustment on the seat
the hula girl on my dash
the stereo
As for storage, I solved it with, bungee cords, a case logic seat back case and a centre console.
kdianes 03-24-2003, 05:05 PM Likes are too many to name. Of all the vehicles I've owned, this one being my 9th vehicle and they ranged from a 77 mustang to an 83 Buick Regal to a 97 Nissan Pathfinder, I LOVE this one the best!
Dislikes: stuff sliding on slippery surface, and blind spot when backing up. Also I can't see past the passenger's seat/rear window when pulling out depending on angles.
Someone said about the cruise control button and why can't it always be on--my husband leaves my on all the time and when I get in the vehicle after he's driven it, the cruise control is still on.
MistyMills 04-13-2003, 12:08 PM Likes:
* It has more cargo room than my Ranger.
* My husband and my brother (who is 6'8 1/2") both fit with room to spare.
* In-dash MP3 player option. How geek am I? I never heard of anyone else even offering this option before.
* The subwoofer. Need I say more?
* No carpeting to stain from the winter mix of salt/sand/slush/snow/grime.
* When you start it, you barely hear it click over. Which is nice because everyone else is asleep when I leave for work.
* Unlike my Ranger, when you pop out a CD, you don't go to the radio.
* The time shows on the radio ALL the time, you don't have to hit a button.
* Those wonderful wonderful wonderful visor extention things.
* Driver's seat that you can move higher or lower.
* My brother-in-law thought it was 'cool'. And his wife works at Ford so that's treason.
* The two trip-milage things.
* Everyone stares at you when you drive it.
Dislikes:
* It's only been one day so this might get better, but I can't find the cup holder while trying to watch the road at the same time.
* Since reading the 'high risk of tipping' thing on the visor, I'm terrified I'm going to take a corner at 35 MPH and tip over.
* It scared me when I turned it off and the radio stayed on. Just freaky.
* No good places to stash my CDs like I had in the Ranger.
* My husband's seat is too far away to smack him when he whines about my driving.
* It's hard for a weakling like me to move the back seats.
* No heated mirrors (which until this post I never heard of, all this time I've been rubbing packets of Burger King salt on them to de-ice them!).
* Because of the way the rearview mirror sits, I can't flip it 'up' at night. I have to flip it 'down' for glares. It'll take some getting used to.
* Everyone staring at you when you drive it. (Because it means I actually have to look not-slobbish when I go out now.)
This is my first 4WD vehicle, which is kinda stupid because I live in Michigan and driving a 2WD truck like I do has always been kind of a dumb thing to do. I can't wait to see how this thing handles in the snow, though.
As for the storage thing, I agree that it would be nice to have a place to hide stuff up front. The back storage cover thing isn't a bad idea, but it's not convenient for stuff you want up front with you. I got the storage armrest option but it won't be in until Wednesday so I haven't gotten to check that out. I'm forever stashing stuff in the armrest of the Ranger. In the Ranger I can also stick CDs under the armrest (between the seat and the armrest) but there's no way to do that in the Element. It'll be a hard habit to break.
Overall the dislikes are minor. Mostly irritating things that you run into with any new car. I can't wait to see what sort of changes they make when they tweak it for future years.
M Ornett 04-13-2003, 01:43 PM MistyMills did you get the DX? - the EX has plenty of space for CDs:
1. the back square part of the center console is the perfect size for them
2. the storage compartment in the roof also holds 4-5 - except you have to remember to close it or you get a CD shower when you accelerate too quick!
I too love the visor extensions!!
MistyMills 04-13-2003, 02:42 PM I do have the EX.
The console only holds something like 3 full sized jewel cases though before they start sliding around. I'm actually going shopping today to look for a case that might fit snugly somewhere in the console area or as a last resort in the pocket in back of the passenger seat. It's just hard for me to reach because I'm short and my husband keeps that seat back as far as it goes for his long legs.
I hadn't thought to try the overhead compartment. All I have up there now are some packets of tissue I threw up there and a pen in the holder. It irks me that the pen doesn't fit with the cap on, though.
I haven't yet gotten my driver's armrest with storage area. It doesn't come in until Wednesday, which I found out when I went to the dealership to pick my Element up yesterday. They'll also install my MP3 player that day along with my other accessories that won't come in until tomorrow or Tuesday. I'm not sure how I'll organize my stuff when I get that it, it depends on how it sits in regard to what I'll be able to reach and also what it'll hold.
Oh, another thing I should have put on the dislike list is that the armrest (right now I have that dinky one that it comes with) is right in my way when I try to fasten the seatbelt. Just another minor irk to get over.
ct221933 04-13-2003, 09:02 PM Love the vehicle overall. Took a 4 hour road trip from Memphis to St Louis last weekend. One dislike is the uncomfortable seats. No lumbar support, especially I have back problems. The Element is good for around town. But we won't be taking the Element on our next 8 hour road trip to Gatlinburg.
za9ra22 04-14-2003, 08:27 AM There's so much to like about my E that it would take too long to list everything, so I'll just say that it's great fun to drive, versatile to use, and (mostly) superbly well thought out.
The dislikes are:
- That every bug in a 250-mile radius makes straight for it when they hear me start it up. I need industrial strength splat-be-gone just to get it out of the driveway.
- If I roll down the window when it's a nice day I get blown into the back seat by the wind if I'm going more than 45. This is one of the most blustery of vehciles I've ever driven!
- I can't have the stereo on and the doors open without the constant warning beeps. So much for side-gate partying.
- That I can't unlock both doors in one go without keyless entry.
- The surfboard-compatible roof line is a perfect shape to dispose of a roof-full of snow in one go down the windshield when you brake. A quantity the wipers can't cope with.
mandyjeane 04-14-2003, 11:13 AM Okay, I just got my Element on Saturday night, so I'm still getting used to it, but the little things I've noticed so far are...
I like that I can see what's in the overhead storage, but I'm too short (5'2"ish) to reach my sunglasses in it.
I can't easily buckle my seatbelt with the standard armrest in place.
I can't reach the rearview mirror (again, too short) to adjust it without leaning way up... and then I don't know exactly where the mirror needs to be.
I love that it's easy to clean. My 2 Australian Shepherds will actually get to ride in my car now without me stressing about all the dog slobber.
I love that I can handle moving the back seats... not too difficult.
The one thing I'm going to miss from my old radio is that I could program FM and AM stations on each group of 6. I didn't have just 12 FM and 6 AM options.
My neice and nephew loved the skylight in the back!
I think that's it for now... I'm sure I'll notice things as I drive it more.
I've been driving mine for five days now. So far the only little things I don't like are:
1 - Slippery floor - had to buy some of that rubber no-slip stuff they make for area rugs to keep things from flying all over the car.
2 - No hidden storage - it'd be great to have even a small lockable box to hide CDs or someone's purse in. I think maybe a drawer attached underneath one of the front seats would do nicely.
3 - No console - would be nice for pens and small stuff.
4 - Rear view mirror is a little small - I mean, I can see the whole back window, but it just feels small. Also still getting used to being so far away from the windshield - stopping about 10 ft further back from intersections so I can see the traffic light!
5 - Mega-huge visor is great for sun blocking, but too wide for any of those neat visor-hanging CD holders and organizers - you'd have to buy extra velcro to make the straps long enough to wrap around that thing!
6 - No designated storage area for the sunroof when it's removed - I'd think even if it fit in on top of the spare or something...
But those are all minor annoyances... I love the little dash trays for putting things in, and the 'mini tray' behind the cupholder. Aux jack is cool - although I haven't used it just yet. I like the auto-mirrors and the fold-up seats a lot, and the giant door storage bins are super. That little snap-shut overhead storage area is a neat idea too.
Love my element!!!

Thanks for the tip,

Only an open driver side door causes beeping, so you can party with the passenger doors and/or rear open to the world.
If you turn your key to unlock twice in a row, the second time should open everything (except with valet key). Also, if you use the l/ul switch on the drivers door (which is the only one, grrr) it will also open everything.
peace,

StLouisPenguin 04-14-2003, 04:31 PM As far as CD storage goes....I bought a silver and black soft sided CD case....I think it holds 48 or 64.....it fits perfectly into the drivers door storage bin.....plus it is easy to get to and when the door is closed you can't see it when looking in the window (theft deterant)
My visor CD holder wasn't big enough....plus this way I can have a lot more CDs with me...perfect for road trips!
Diane :)
pookSter 04-14-2003, 05:42 PM As far as CD storage goes , I have over 634 Cd's sitting on the front shelf to the right of the accessory jack....Oh wait, they are all inside my MP3 player lol. No probs with storage there :) The CD storage case..err ah, MP3 player was $220. A worthwhile investment for the Element.
za9ra22 04-14-2003, 08:28 PM jdef, thanks for the reminder that I can side-gate out the passenger side - I hadn't even thought of that!
Sadly the double-unlock doesn't work on my E - which is odd, I was sure that when I got it, unlocking the driver door with the key unlocked everything. Clearly I was dreaming!! No wonder keyless entry is backordered.
natural wonder 04-14-2003, 09:59 PM Likes:
1. Seat reconfiguration makes vehicle most utilitarian on market.
2. Easy clean water resistant seating and flooring
3. Fully reclining seats
4. Legroom- best legroom in rear seats of any vehicle in it's class, (maybe of any vehicle, period)
5. Headroom
6. Tailgate/Hatch combo -- much more useful than side-swing doors.
7. Both our mountainbikes fit inside without modification.
8. Visibility -- better than Hummer! Of course, a lot of things on the E are better than on the Hummer. I compare it to that monster just to make a point. ;-)
9. Rear moonroof
10. Dark tinted rear windows
It would not be an overstatement to say that I bought this vehicle primarily because of considerations 1-7, above. There is simply nothing else on the market that addresses those issues as well as the Element does.
Dislikes in no particular order:
*Lack of covered storage
*Flimsy spare tire cover negates usefulness of rear moonroof as an opening useful for astronomy.
*No passenger armrest, and frankly, the driver's side one isn't all that much.
*The sunvisors have some serious leaks around the corners. -- (Off the wall tip-- Never buy a house West of where you work: else you'll wind up driving East into the Sun in the morning, and West into the Sun in the Eve.)
*Glovebox way too small!! When the glovebox won't even hold the manual and dealer's papers, it makes one wonder how it's supposed to be useful for subsequent service reports and the other usual vehicle related stuff that one generally wants handy in the vehicle, not withstanding personal items.
*Minimal gauge contrast -- I guess I was spoiled here by Toyota's amazing high contrast gauges that actually change color depending on whether the lights are on or not. I find that, at night, when the lights are on, the E's gauges are OK, but not particularly great. In the daytime, I find the conical lenses are a little bit, (not much, just a little bit) distracting.
* No master lock/unlock button inside rear hatch. Again, I'm being picky, but I've had or used two station wagons that had this feature, and it's very handy.
* Rear side pockets aren't roomy enough to be useful, but being fixed, molded plastic, can't be removed or folded out of the way, either.
So, my gripes are minor, and the reasons that I bought the E still make it quite unique. I would definitely buy another.
ropedart 04-15-2003, 01:09 PM Likes: All of the above but that shifter is cool. With my auto I like to shift into neutral alot to save gas and brakes. I just move my right hand over and tap it up or down. I always thought I wanted a column shifter like the CRV or Escape. They just get in the way of everything.
Dislikes: The lame CRV style roof rack. If they knew it was going to be Hit! they could have gotten one like the Xterra. I waiting for Yakima for new Landing pads for the Element at least.

-Visibility up front is awesome.
-I'm 6'5" and can reach all the way out and never touch the windshield. Makes me feel really safe.
-No carpet!
-The floor in the back seems higher than in the front I can reach things in the back seat much easier when I'm up front.
-Not a bad factory sound system. My first passenger complained that the subwoofer was vibrating her seat!
-Power UP windows. never had a vehicle that had that feature. Always power DOWN, but never UP
-Seat upholstery seems like it will hold up over time
-plenty of room between the seats to hold Wendy's bags, drinks, etc. My cell phone fits perfect down there
-Back seats fold up out of the way or can be removed completely
-The looks I'm getting right now with being one of the few Elements around here
-HEADROOM, HEADROOM, HEADROOM!
-Rear seat legroom.
-Rear seats recline!
Dislikes:
-Side mirrors are kind of small. Could be bigger especially with some of the blindspots.
-Headroom in rear is not as great as in the front.
-No shade that comes standard for the rear sunroof. Can be annoying for rear seat passengers.
First full day of owning it so far so good, except for the turn signal bulb being bad.

Hehe... I do believe I bought the exact same one! Case Logic makes it... shiny silver. Matches the car nicely, and fits right in the door.

wr70beh 04-18-2003, 01:27 AM There's one other thing i don't like about the Element but it's really really minor. I don't like the fact that the 12V power outlets turn off when you turn off the key. Almost every other car I've had they stay on after you turn the key off but even the back one turns off in the Element. It makes it kind of pointless to have a car battery charger for your cell phone especially if you keep your cell phone in your car. I know this is nitpicking....
Carrie Kopp 04-19-2003, 07:27 PM Geez, I just got mine 4/16 and I'm short so maybe having my seat so far up I don't have the blind spots???? However, I sat in the back seat tonight and couldn't believe the view!!!! I was so high up and the big windows allowed me to see so much!!! Plus, I couldn't believe the room in the back seat!!! It is so unique though, I love all the stares I'm getting! Things do slide around the floor but I love not having carpet to get all muddy! I'm sorry someone has to wait 3 months for one. I ordered mine and only waited a couple weeks but I wanted E-Blue and no pricey upgrades. I love my EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

MistyMills 04-22-2003, 02:38 PM I put the seat up as far as it goes and it's hard to reach out at drive through windows and at ATMs and stuff. So that's something I'm not liking but can live with.

SPACE E 04-22-2003, 04:59 PM I really like the way I don't have to stretch to get to the goodies! After a Civic where I had to practically get out of the car to do anything, I am lovin' this!
dcmetromcl 04-23-2003, 12:11 PM LOVE!
The water-resistant seat covers. I've had my E 9 days and on day 5 I spilled a Dr. Pepper on the front driver's seat. Had a towel close by - wiped it up and all's well. No stain, no mess. "Can't say the same for the pants I was wearing. :?
larryc 04-25-2003, 05:22 AM Having the sunroof located at the back really helps ventilation. With the sunroof and rear door windows popped open, my dog gets plenty of breeze -- and no annoying "wind buffeting" as in my previous car.
ct221933 04-26-2003, 09:54 PM Great car overall. Any golfers out there? My only complain; my golf bag does not fit the trunk with rear seats down, and it is a stand-bag and my longest club is a 43 inch driver.

CincyElement 05-08-2003, 10:07 AM Wish there was a hook to hang up dry cleaning when you pick it up.
hambone 05-08-2003, 11:52 AM i have a carbiner hanging from my rear 'holy heck' handle behind the driver. i then slip the dry cleaning ( on hangers of course, the folded stuff just got too wrinkled when i tried to stuff it in there ) into the carbiner and voila !
hanging laundry and no blocked vision...

I love it when people come up with smart solutions like this.
Cool idea, Hambone!

Easy care interior
Honda engine (please note that this engine is not the kind that, should the timing belt break, it will not require major expense !!!)
Location of shift lever/ handle
AWD
Fit/ Finish
Would like to see: (Honda engineers please take note)
Standard console that is high enough to rest ones arm on.
Some type of lip above driver's door that would prevent those agrivating drips onto the seat after a rain or heavy dew.
Better tensioner on the driver's side seat belt (Often when I am exiting the car, I must make sure the belt is inside the door frame so I don't accidently close the door on the belt buckle and thus marr the frame moulding or dent the metal frame).
Over all, I love this car ! Hope it lasts me 200K+

Great idea! I'll have to try that out.
Thanks
mvbird 04-13-2010, 09:09 PM Turning around to try to open rear windows on a hot day while stopped at a red light... difficult on right, impossible on left... ouch my neck !
Blind spot, especially if I have one of the rear seats lifted up... which I usually do.
Not easy to parallel park.
I find the compartments in the center console unusable for anything but paper clips or change.
I don't like complaining. Overall it's a wonderful car and fun to own.
TheWilliamsFamily 04-17-2010, 06:56 PM Carabiners on the rear "holy heck" handles - Excellent Idea - I just need to find two Kiwi green ones!
Paul R 05-07-2010, 11:49 AM Cons:
Obviously the suicide doors are a hassle, but I don't feel right in complaining about them. It's just part of what an Element is. It would be like complaining about what a hassle it is to eat a lobster, with all of the cracking and stabbing and wrestling and whatnot. You ordered the lobster, that's what lobsters are.
(Mmmm...lobster...)
Anyway, the only real complaint I have is the lack of a lock/unlock button on the passenger-side door. I don't get that at all. Every time someone in the passenger's seat tries to get out, they automatically look for a button to push. But there's no unlock button, only a window button, and they have to reach over their shoulder to manually unlock the door. Nobody manually unlocks a door any more. Weird.
My wife calls it the "child abductor option package."
Pros:
Everything else.
marksbug 05-07-2010, 12:13 PM hard arm rest on doors.,dash needs to be layed out better.rear seats should do more.front seat sliders are junk, thanks honda!!! lower side plastic panels are way to thick& take up 2 much foot room.a better set of seats would be nice but that might compromize the whole lay flat camping thing, but it could be worked out. thin out the "A" pillers (plastic) so it's easyer to see the guy on the bike before he's under the car.. put brackets on the roof for the rear seats to hang so you can still see out the winders & get them out of the way better. better sound insulation in the doors, sewer slide doors that slide like oddsey's,

Well put, Paul.
lack of a lock/unlock button on the passenger-side door.
Have you seen the DIY passenger's door lock thread (http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=238354)? (It's listed on the How-tos page (http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_faq_eoc_howto).)

Yes, I just saw it a few minutes ago. Thanks, Dan. I've only read the first few pages so far. I'll want to read most of it before I pitch in.
