I have been noticing this subtle rattle sound for a while, and couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was. The other day I was cleaning my E when I noticed the painted triangular section of plastic near the driver's side mirror was loose. I gently wedged some paper in it ot hold it in place and took it for a drive and no more rattle.

I bought mine in October and started hearing the squeak about a week ago.

So what did you do to fix it? Did you take it back to the dealer?
